Horrible App I Hope The Merger Isnt The Same
Where do I begin?? If the app even opens it crashes. When it does open, the accounts dont even reflect an accurate accounting of my transactions. Past transactions are missing or daily balances are unrealistic and show amounts Ive never even had in my account. Ive been in the accounting profession for almost 30 years and if they cant do a simple data transfer from one system to another after all the time theyve had for this merger is alarming. My mom was with BB& T and I got her set up with their app-it was not very user friendly. I assured her that after the merger they would logically follow the format of the stronger more streamlined SunTrust app. Boy was I wrong. The previous SunTrust app would show an accurate real time balance that reflected pending transactions. The Truist app has a weak pay bills section with buttons grayed out implying you cant press pay or done. The Zelle feature is ridiculous just 2 big buttons. You know an app is bad when your 23 year old son in IT and your 27 year old tech savvy daughter are both complaining about it and questioning whether its safe to stay with Truist. I have to agree with them.

Truit Took Over Suntrust
Truit took over suntrust. I have been with them over 40 years. I whent to get money out of the bank by a atm card.Would not work because it wanted a truit card. I dont have a truit card nor was one sent to me. I have no money in my pocket to by fuel and i barly got home on fumes. This is sunday no one to talk to at truit. Even used the stolen line and it came back we are closed. I noticed there are alot of complaints and never have i seen a company with such bad reviews that low. Shame on trunit being this bad !!!!

I’ve Been A Suntrust Customer For Over 10 Years
I’ve been a Suntrust customer for over 10 years. I can’t understate how disappointed I’ve been in their customer service. As a few examples: we have our mortgage and credit cards with them. After many years of perfect payment history, they solicited for us to apply to a credit consolidation offer, which we did apply for. We were flat out rejected with no explanation. We called several times and never were given a reason as to why we were rejected despite our good credit and perfect payment history. A few years ago my income increased significantly. I asked for a credit line increase. While other credit card companies that I held lines of credit with were eager to increase our limits , Truist required a hard credit check, which I decided not to do and instead just use other cards with better services. I also refinanced my mortgage with Bank of America – Truist never followed up as to why they are losing our business. Their online service is terrible. It takes an eternity to reach a human being, and most of the time I call, they are unable to help me. I’m just done with this bank and will go with other banks that want and solicit my business.
